Marcel Ostertag’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection yielded hues of light blues, pinks, greens and silvers during NYFW. His way of paying homage to “Air”, the inspiration behind the collection which he says "Air. Everything is inspired by the lightness and breath of air.”

The German designer is the first to secure a two-season contract with IMG International and rightfully so. The soft chiffon threads emerging on the runway drove sensuality into perspective for the upcoming season with sheer floor length skirts, oversized knit sweaters and trench coats reminiscent of a fanciful city day.
Marcel Ostertag captured “air" with horses and blue skies printed on bomber jackets, lightweight trenches and blouses. These prints instantly immerse you and takes you into a new terrain full of beauty and gives a sense of freedom. The S/S 17 collection is one that is luxurious yet feminine enough to transform any woman into her best dressed self.

Greeted with a standing ovation for a tamed colorful collection, the designer sparkled down the runway enthusiastically in a gold sequin jacket. Each seated guest left with a little gift from Marcel Ostertag- their very own look-book from the label.
