The Road To Runway With Fashion X Dallas + Cadillac

Good drinks, good convos and Dallas finest in fashion are just a bonus for a Fashion X Dallas experience. Everyone really attends to eye new emerging designers. Fashion X Dallas is one of the city’s most crazed fashion events. Hosted at Fashion Industry Gallery (FIG), the venue is transformed into an open canvas for style and design. The mixture of innovative fashion, shopping galleries, newly crafted drinks and good company combine for a memorable adventure.
On Saturday (the finale night) presenting sponsor Cadillac serviced VIP guests with a complimentary ride in the 2016 Cadillac XT5 Crossover, a Road to Runway experience from Bungalow Beach Club to FIG. Once inside we were greeted with cocktails from Texas Ranger Whiskey and Chloe Wine inside the lush VIP lounge.
Lifetime’s Project Runway winners and All Star designers Korto Momolu and Sean Kelly took to the runway to show their new collections to a crowd of over 200 fashion mavens.
Bentley + Lace is a new designer that I’ve never come across. The collection was filled with magical, vintage inspired pieces for girls and women. The combination of lace, tulle and embellishments designer Elizabeth Copeland creates with her pieces are spellbinding.
Dallas’ own duo Jerry Matthews and Francesca Viamonte of Nine Muses continuously delivers! The luxury label speaks elegance, confidence, beauty and business. I always fall in love with the perfectly tailored designs of trenches, dresses, skirts and blouses.

Ese Azenabor is quickly becoming a household name in gown design. Known for her shiny, glamorous designs and having had some of Hollywoods most notables in her collection, The Fashion X Dallas vet showcased a Holiday Collection full of glitzy embroidery and silks revealing a bit more skin in her floor length gowns with sheer panels aligning the garment.

During the Capsule segment (a brief showing of emerging brands) Dahl brought army fatigue mixed with patchwork that made for an edgy, sexy appeal. Flawless Honey showcased bright floral prints fit to brighten up any wardrobe.
Shopping emerging designers from across Texas: Penny Luck, Shuesq., The Shoe Bar, Allison Mitchell and Oil Digger Tees, Fashion X Dallas aligns you with brands you wouldn’t normally come across. And this is why I continuously attend and support the event is focused on Texas brands. Its great to meet new lines/ collections that identify with being a Texan.
After the show we hustled to the official Fashion X Dallas After Party hosted by Cadillac in a roomy 2016 Cadillac Escalade with soft black leather seats at Bungalow Beach Club. Lights dimmed, white linens dropped and sexy music filled the atmosphere. Hundreds trekked to the patio for views of the beautiful pool area and to grab a few tacos.
Fashion X Dallas revolutionizes Fashion shows in Dallas. Strong designers, Dallas’ elite, Texas brands to shop, exceptional drinks and a wonderful ambiance make up a great night on the town!
