Driving Dallas In The 2017 Lincoln MKZ

On August 23rd Lincoln Motor Company lead an exclusive experience headlining a private encounter with the Quiet Luxury of the all new 2017 MKZ.

Beginning with lunch at Stephan Pyles - Flora Street Cafe located in the Dallas Arts District a group of about 20 dined on signature dishes to a restaurant whose doors were only open for Lincoln Motor Company and guest. The view of abstract architecture along the street as we nibbled on creative cuisines created the most perfect atmosphere to engage in luxury. Lincoln’s exterior designer Solomon Song described Lincoln Motor Company new fleet as "Not just about quality but experience” - a luxurious experience. Designer interior themes, concierge service for members, 20 speaker system, refined knobs and switches all make up a tailored experience inside the 2017 Lincoln MKZ

Once complete with dining, we hopped into the ride for an insider tour with Tom Ozog- Lincoln’s Chief Program Engineer. He shared that plastic was taken out of the interior design and upgraded with aluminum and placing leather across the dash added a signature touch. Tom also demonstrated the massage functions and the various modes to enjoy music. When he mentioned the vehicle delivers up to 400 horsepower, that was music to my ears!

Next it was time to take the gentle baby for a spin! My Black Label 3.0L in Chroma Caviar (Dark Grey Metallic) featuring a cashmere Venetian star interior, Chalet themed (inspired by an exclusive and exhilarating yet serene Alpine experience). I sat down and instantly sank into the soft leather of the bucket seats, gripped the soft wheel, geared up the massagers, looked over at my photog- Marcus and followed the GPS to my next destination.

With no clue as to where we’d end, we powered up the beats and hit the bright sunny road ending at the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. Once parked we trucked up the trail to snap a photo with a parked MKZ nestled perfectly against one of Dallas’ most known sights.

We popped back in the whip on our way to yet ANOTHER adventure. Crossing the attraction I had to test the horsepower, I mashed the gas just to see what she had in her and that baby erupted so swiftly it was like a plan taking off the runway. Pulling into Highland Park Village we were whisked upstairs to a private room for a private shopping experience with personal shopper Liz Thrash. Liz shared trends for fall from designers Christian Dior, Alexander McQueen, Chanel and Hermes. After playing dress up we departed the shopping destination with our own personal Hermes Twilly scarves - a luxurious gift from Lincoln Motor Company

On the road to Dallas Arts District once again, I took in the “design that lasts through generations”. The quiet cabin, cushioned leather steering wheel, fully retractable glass roof and the great city of Dallas as my backdrop, I couldn’t have asked for more in #QuietLuxury. Lincoln Motor Company is by far advanced in providing a luxurious experience tailored to a fashion savvy individual than any other brand that I’ve experienced.

Before departing the encounter we captured a glimpse of the newly designed 2017 Lincoln Continental- a midsize in a league of its own. Fore more on the 2017 Lincoln MKZ visit www.lincoln.com and take a virtual ride!

A special thank you to the staff at Lincoln Motor Company for a wonderful experience!
