Rihanna Gets Emotional In ATL On Her Anti World Tour Last Stop

BadGalRiRi hit the ATL as her last stop during the North American Anti World Tour and luckily I was there to witness the multi Grammy award winning songstress in action.
Before the show I had to get my eat on. Conveniently located across the street from my lodging quarters (aka my cousins casa, ha ha) was Marlow’s Tavern. I strolled over a bit uncertain about the eats at this place because you know, hotel restaurants are not usually very tasty. I’m glad I checked it out…. the experience was far more savory than I anticipated. Starting off with TOMMY’S FAVORITE SANGRIA - Savida Sangria, fresh pear and Agave Nectar was the best thing I could do. The blend of fresh fruits and Sangria matched for the perfect mid day cocktail.
With this whole new 30 year old body, I’ve been more open with trying new things. The suggestion from my server Ian led me to attempt The Shrimp and Grits - White Cheddar Grit Cake, Spinach, Roma Tomato, Shallot and Roast Tomato Beurre Blanc. I subbed my shrimp for grilled chicken instead. The taste was like a explosion of flavor in my mouth. The grits cake stuffed with spinach was so amazing and the Tomato Beurre Blanc atop set for an exotic experience to my taste buds.
Next, it was time for me to transform. I decided to “Pour It Up” and transitioned into Rihanna from her seductive strip tease video. (See outfit details below)
Once settled inside the Philips Arena we bumped into Atlanta’s finest, singer/ RHOAtlanta's Kandi Burress- Tucker and husband producer Todd Tucker. Headed back into the suite I could hear the bumps of Travis Scott's tunes and the audience totally enthralled and roaring for the rapper. “Antidote” dropped and the arena went wild! Performing on stage in front of a huge “Travis” head, his super energy set the tone for a thrilling Rihanna entrance.
RihRih’s “Stay” poured through the arena and all you could view were lights from phones awaiting to capture the artists entrance. The Queen of “winding” stepped in with a hooded jacket baring nothing but chaps in “The 9-5" RihannaxManolo boots she designed with Manolo. As soon as her voice boomed through the mic the arena thundered. I knew I was in for a wonderful concert with the energy that filled the building.
The beat picked up as she took to the stage in her desert rogue apparel and the stage turned into a Sahara, the Diva shot sexy dance move after move. My eyes were fixated on the stage, Rihanna and her costumes... all remaining within the realm of “rougeness”. My favorite look was the shiny sheer black jumpsuit dripping in tinsels. It paired perfectly with her trained hood and gigantic plastic rainbow worm taking over the stage.
From hit to hit…. “Umbrella”, “Rude boy”, “Diamonds and “Work” she thrilled the crowd with her rambunctious voice in between flattering us with her heavy Barbadian accent. You could feel Rih's emotions as she shares “Ya’ll almost *ucked me up with these signs.” She grabs a sign from an audience member and continues "Thank you so much, I like to play hard ass and BadGal Rih, that really touched me. So thank you so much Atlanta, y’all the shit."
After singing what she says is her favorite song of the Anti album “Love on the Brain” so emotionally, she closed the show smiling with foam dripping from her back screen and tour crew credits rolling on the metal tv screen.
Rihanna is amazing at what she does. Singing, dancing, entertaining and her charismatic personality, she wins your heart. If you could feel the intensity in the room you’d be perplexed as to just how much love, fun and dancing makes the heart feel good.
