Record breaking Tony Award winner Audra McDonald covers the "Careers" issue of Essence Mag

ESSENCE's April issue focuses on "Careers" and the impeccable Audra McDonald graces the cover. The record- breaking six time Tony Award winner and Broadway starlet shares how following her passion saved her life- literally. Aside from racking up awards, Audra also stars in HBO's broadcast of Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. The A Raisin in the Sun star can also be seen on Broadway this season in Shuffle Along.
