Academy Award winner, Mexican- Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong’o opens up with Essence Magazine inside the January Issue about overnight fame, balance and insecurities. Known for her role in 12 Years A Slave, Glamour’s “Woman of the Year” states “…The stage of self-doubt is never eliminated. It’s work. It doesn’t come naturally or easily because I have a golden statue sitting on my shelf…”
Becoming a role model, beauty icon and super star overnight is not easy. I personally appreciate the timeless beauty sharing her struggles within the lights (Hollywood) and how she found herself and balance. Filming three movies and starring in Star Wars: The Force Awakens she says comes at an "emotional price". (Oh how I love this woman' s look!)
Make sure you grab a copy of Essence Magazines January edition! Its a MUST read and available now!
