"The Sound of Music" Now Showing at Dallas Music Hall

Dallas Fair Park's Music Hall is sharing The Sound of Music and we shared its magic with this exciting musical that brings the audience through the Austrian Mountains. Vivid, "real" back drops give great detail in each scene as every cast member delivers a unique captivating performance.
Maria Rainer- the main character, has a habit of "saying the right things at the wrong time" with good intentions of course! She is in charge of seven adorable children with lively personalities with whom she must win their favor while coping with their father, Captain Von Trampp's.
You will have the urge to hum along with familiar numbers like "Sixteen Going on Seventeen" and "Do-Re-Mi". Full of love, laughter, and tears, director Jack O'Brien gives attendees a rich depiction of this timeless production.
