The nation’s largest entertainment festival, Essence Festival takes place in New Orleans 4th of July Weekend! With panels, autograph signings, performances and meet and greets your day will be full of empowerment whether you hit the convention center during the day to feast your eyes on the celebrities that speak on stage like Terrence J, Jussie Smollett, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, Gabourey Sidibe, Kem, June Ambrose or enjoy the concerts at the SuperDome with performances by Wale, Common, Mary J Blige and many other award winning talents.
One of the most important questions I'm asked is “what to wear’? “How should I pack”? So I’ll get to the essentials you’ll need to be comfortable and enjoy your Essence Festival experience as you scramble from the French Quarter to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, the Mercedes -Benz SuperDome and endless day and night parties in the N.O. heat.
