The Makeup Show Dallas hit the D-F-Dub bringing thousands of makeup fanatics to the Hyatt Regency for two days of basking in makeup glory! Attendees got a first look at new products and makeup tips from their favorite celebrity artists such as AJ Crimson and many more!
TMSDallas, hands on sessions with makeup artists from television, editorial, film and creative backgrounds teach tricks on applying makeup for each style. It’s everything you need to know about makeup in one building! Touch, feel and play with makeup while exchanging vital advice from aspiring makeup artists’ also attending to learn just like you! Get the first look at trends before they hit the runways or red carpet! It’s literally, “ONE OF THE BEST THINGS EVER!” says celebrity hairstylist/makeup artist Bridgett Harrison. “The event is wonderful, exciting and inspiring. I loved the specials that I was able to take advantage of. Everyone was so excited, everyone had a favorite artist or product line they couldn’t wait to see.”

Contouring… we’ve seen it applied so badly on many occasions. What’s the secret to a perfectly contoured face?
The secret to a perfect contour is understanding that shadow can only be achieved with light. Shadows should be added where they would naturally appear and should be made using a cool shadow or shade that looks like a real shadow. Summer is here and so are new colors. What’s the new color that’s making waves?
I am loving deep burgundy for the lips. It is so impactful and so unexpected for summer. My favorite is OCC Lip Tar in Black Dahlia
