With Autism affecting 1 in 68 children the Bobby Norris Roundup for Autism is one of the leading organizations in Texas whose focal point is on raising awareness of Autism and funding for the Autism Treatment Center of Texas.
Why is this so important to me? Well, because of one amazingly strong mother I know. Christina Puga, a mother of two boys who are both diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum. Through the difficulties she always finds a way to stay positive and keep smiling. Puga says “it’s challenging and although you have faith you still need a support system.” She feels that organizations like Roundup for Autism are “an incentive for both research and awareness. Texas is a big state and big things happen here. My hope is that the funding will bring a deeper insight of the diagnosis and empathy instead of ignorance.”
On Thursday, April 23rd Dallas’ top talents; philanthropist- Yvonne Crum, Jeannette Chivvis of Chivvis Styles, Carrie McClure of WFAA 8 Good Morning Texas, Andre Yabin and Luis Nazario of Binzario Couture will take to the Fairmont Hotel for a momentous event all in the name of Autism!
RoundUp for Autism and Binzario Couture presents “A Walk in Paris”. At this inaugural fashion show and luncheon guests will relish in the opportunity to win one of the two custom gowns (made especially for this event, pictured below) by Binzario Couture that will be raffled. Celebrity stylist Jeannette Chivvis will manufacture an electrifying fashion show revealing the bridal designers FIRST reveal of formal gowns inspired by 1940s, 50s and 60s French fashions decked in jewelry by Couture Rocks Fine Jewelry.
