Grab the whole family and head to Dallas Summer Musicals to experience the spectacular production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s “THE KING AND I”!

Taking place at the Royal Palace in Bangkok the story follows English widow Anna Leonowens played by Rachel York (best known for her Broadway performances in City of Angels and Les Miserables) and her young son as she is asked to the country to teach the King’s many children (featuring our young, local actors/actresses) and wives. After her arrival she learns the King of Siam portrayed by Alan Ariano (Shanghai Moon) is not as kind as she thinks (but keeps us laughing and etc, etc, etc) and they are both forced to learn and respect each other’s tradition. After becoming notified that he is considered to be a barbarian by the West, the King and Anna come up with a plan to change his image and accidentally fall in love.
