Krave Magazine's "Kings of Hearts Kalendar" release is steamy!

*sings to the tune of Patti LaBelle’s “Lady Marmalade”* Mocha , chocolata la la!

The King of Hearts Kalendar is here and loaded with 12 spectacular bodies of the male species! *drools* Krave Magazine-“ is the only fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazine specifically for the urban man with urban taste” says its editor William T. Young who dedicates this calendar to his best friend who died of heart disease.

The calendar represents the majestic glory of men of color not only on the outside but also on the inside. Each male model is adorned with a “Krown” on his head, symbolizing strength and pride, a very powerful message that Krave wanted to pass on to young readers. And guess who was invited to the Kalendar release party! Yes yes- I got the opportunity to chat it up with these sexy men at Pho House in Dallas. They look just as good in person ladies :)

Now, I’m just like the next woman and enjoy looking at a great body (especially one that is cut like the sculpture of David) but what I find more intriguing about these young men is their stories. Recent college grads, athletes and entrepreneurs; I asked each about their workout regime (and how they collectively could have been the African American version of 300- HA) and each response was the same DIET and discipline (remind me to work on that in 2015)

With the room full of fans, supporters, the Krave staff and socialite Jaecelyn Merseberg along with fashion stylist Courtney Walker (“The Collar Pin King”) the night was not only a night of honor but of glory and celebration for the Krave Kings! FYI- Mr. Young is a Kappa (notice the K’s in place of the C’s)
