Paramount Pictures to distribute Chris Rock's "Top Five"

After rave reviews at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, Paramount Pictures announced they will distribute writer/director Chris Rock’s comedy film “Top Five” worldwide.
Written, directed by, and starring Chris Rock (who never disappoints in a comedy), “TOP FIVE” tells the story of New York City comedian-turned-film star Andre Allen, whose unexpected encounter with a journalist (Rosario Dawson) forces him to confront the comedy career—and the past—that he's left behind.
Starring Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Hart, Tracy Morgan, Cedric The Entertainer, J.B. Smoove, Sherri Shepherd, Anders Holm, Romany Malco, Leslie Jones, Michael Che, and Jay Pharoah. The film is produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush. The Co-Producers are hip hop moguls Shawn “Jay Z” Carter and Kanye West; the Executive Music Producer is Questlove (drummer in band, The Roots).
I’ve heard Rock say on The Wendy Williams Show that Tracy Morgan has been in each of his films, he’s always supported him (It’s nice to hear stories of friendships in Hollywood that don’t expire). There is no release date for the film just yet but we know that Chris Rock is hilarious and the fact that it got picked up for distribution shows that its a must see! I’ll keep you updated once I get news on release date.
