Fashion Arena takes over the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden!

FashionArena

The Fashion Opera presents Fashion Arena showcase is an experience for all! Produced by Antonio Wingfield & Darnell Sanders this one of a kind event held at the blossoming Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden gave several other designers the forum to display their extraordinary talents as well. Sheila Daleus blessed us with her fascinating shoe embellishment designs. What she does is takes an ordinary pair of shoes and revamps them into something that fits your personal style whether by adding tulle, beads, fringe and other things. Nic Moore never disappoints!! He is a self-taught designer out of Dallas who’s well known for his Little Black Dress collection. Heavy hitters from his collection at Fashion Arena where his white and yellow polka dot dress and the little black dress topped with the mod green jacket!! Cutting edge at its finest!

Let's talk accessories! Deidre Hardin displayed magnificent pieces. She creates all natural accessories made of clay, paint, textiles, found objects, and gemstones! I’ve never seen any accessory line that can match her collections. Another accessory line I’m fancy of is Whitby Art by Ashley Whitby! Her collection is available for men and women. Her work is so out of the box it’s insane! One of my personal favorites was the snake piece; it was two snakes wrapped around the models body. Very unrestrained and edgy!! Loved it!!

Last but not least, the man of the hour Mr. Antonio Wingfield himself closed the show with his men’s and women’s line Wingfield and it was beyond amazing! A pure genius is what he is. He does it all! He’s a writer, an artist, a poet, and a designer that brings together artistry and designs that result in an immaculate creation! Sharing a portion of his poem titled "Vanity Black" the audience agreed that poetry in his book "Internal Vanity" is very captivating.
