"Bronner Bros Happy Hair Show" Atlanta 2014

Bronner Bros International Hair Show is known throughout the countries as the number 1 hair show with a primary focus on African American hair/culture. So it's no wonder why hair stylists, barbers, aspiring hair stylists, makeup artists and beauty and hair brands fly across the globe and into Atlanta to attend! The networking opportunities during the August 2nd-5th conference are endless and the place to be if your interested in a long lasting career in the hair and beauty field! Celebrities such as celebrity hair stylist Kim Kimble (star of LA Hair), celebrity stylist Derek J and New DishNation host Porsha Williams (Bravo's Atlanta Housewives) and attendees filled the Georgia World Congress Center. This year featured the Speed Cutting Competition and The Makeup Challenge where winners walked away with 1000 dollars! A performance by R&B Divas ATL songstress Syleena Johnson and much more!

Each day hosts an array of workshops presented by the industry's leaders such as celebrity makeup artist Latasha Wright, celebrity hair stylist Freddie J, Shelinah Jo and a host of others giving professional advice and sharing their expertise with guests and ending with the annual Comedy Show and the well known Bronner Bros. Fashion Show.

One of Dallas' own, hair stylist Meeka Hollins loves attending Bronner Bros so I wanted to get her opinion on the conference being her 3rd year run and being that she's an individual that is focused on perfecting her craft. She stated that Each year she comes back from Bronner Bros with more knowledge and she's always motivated to put her new skills to test. However, she did miss the Big Fantasy and Barber battles this year. Overall her experience at Bronner Bros is fantastic and she suggests anyone in beauty or hair should attend.
