"Accessories in the Nude" Competition and Cocktail event!!

Accessories in the Nude is a showcase of fashionable accessories like no other. Its focus is solely on accessories (you know, the items you put with your outfit to give it the little extra UMPH?) Created by Meko Krout King and slogan “If you aren’t in the right accessories you might as well be nude”, Accessories in the Nude was built for jewelry designers, she feels they are often not recognized so she gives them a platform to make their product more visible and who doesn’t like a competition?
Design contestants Kanupriya Pande- Jeweled Couture; Terri Datcher- Oh My God Accessories; Emme- This One Woman, LLC; Megan Brigham; Ashlee Long- Allee Long; Noella Kalamboy- Dee’Vine Kreations; Brooke Reynolds- Socialite Pink; Jacque Martin- Jacque M and Thais Mills- Thais Flowers showcased their best 3 pieces in front of Dallas’ most fashionable judges: Shona Che're Gilbert- Shona; Bernard Underwood- An Intimate Place and Amy Claro and Amy Coffey- Accessory Concierge. Hosted by Lisa Petty of DFW Style Daily, One Arts Plaza was filled with guests who were ready to feast their eyes on custom, new and trendy designs. Each designer stood next to their looks as models posed atop lighted platforms to give the judges the opportunity to look closely, feel and wear some of the products as well as ask designers questions about the pieces.
The winner will be announced at the AIN Fashion Showcase on May 17th.
