Bronner Bros. Mid Winter Hair Show in the ATL:: A Hair Extravaganza!!!

Atlanta hosted the most amazing and world known hair show in February. Its called the Bronner Bros. 67th annual mid- winter hair show and people come from across the world to get inspired, learn from the best and witness the popular culture of "hair shows" .

The extravaganza kicked off Saturday with a comedy show featuring Nephew Tommy from the Steve Harvey Morning Show. Sunday morning started with an amazing church service officiated by Rev. C .Elijah Bronner and a mini concert by Grammy winning gospel singer Smokie Norful. Sunday evening featured the top barbers in the country going head to head (literally), in a hair cutting tournament. The four day trade show had over 300 exhibitors showcasing everything from the newest hair styles, to amazing educational workshops and classes for hair, nails and skin. There were also a lot of celebrities in attendance watching the competitions and showcasing their products. Lisa Ray, Erica Dixon, Lil Scrappy, Kelsey Nykole and Shekinah Anderson were all spotted enjoying themselves throughout the weekend. Derek J from Bravo TV "Fashion Queens" took to the stage to talk about what? HAIR of course.

The focus during the Bronner Bros. Hair Show is strictly on education. There are numerous classes, seminars and workshops for industry professionals. All in all, it was a great show, I look forward to the next one this August.
